About Dino Kotlar
Dino Kotlar is a Croatian-born Italian Architect and Designer. He qualified from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy in 2014 – Master of Architecture (100/110; RIBA Part 2 equivalent [2.1]) and he is now a registered architect in Europe and Uk, and a member of the Royal Architects Registration Board since 2015.
Working experience includes architect technologist at the Department of Planning, Bergamo, Italy in the 2007; Architect Assistant at WIP Architetti 2011, urban design and interiors practice based in Milan,
InAr, Architecture and Engineering, Milan, 2012-2013,
Reformemos, Madrid architectural practice, design manager. 2020-2022
Design Tutor at Ba Course at Manchester Metropolitan School of Architecture.2018-2022
Dino Kotlar is working as Project Architect at Francis Roberts Architects, international practice based in Preston, United Kingdom 2014-2022.
He has been working alongside the director Dominic Roberts, conservation accredited Architect (AABC) working on projects with private clients, landowners, trusts and community groups on new buildings, homes, historic building conversion and urban design.
Dino’s role in the practice includes architect, designer, project architect, team leader, visualisation and the production of construction drawings. He works as part of a team designing and delivering projects at all scales from urban design to historic building repair. Project architect on a number of schemes involving conservation, repair and restoration, he has experience dealing with clients, planners and contractors throughout the design process and in formal public consultation workshops.
Recent roles include being part of the design team for residential projects for the Duchy of Cornwall in Dorset and Herefordshire, a new two-form entry Primary School to be operated by Aspire Academy Trust and new care buildings at Whiteley Village in Surrey. Historic building and refurbishment projects include a building conversion for Lostock Hall Medical Centre near Preston and a new frontage for 99-101 Blackburn Road as part of the Accrington Townscape heritage Initiative. He has participated in Prince’s Foundation public workshops in Herefordshire and in consultations connected to PRIP and PSiCA schemes in Burton-in-Kendal, Cumbria, annexe for staff accommodation to a primary school, layout options for a hospital on the Isle of Scilly, layout options for a refurbishment scheme for a school in Carisle, masterplan for new developments at Mulgrave Estate, Yorkshire.is )
